Development / Production Design

Creative Development & Previsualization.

Previsualization is where creative ambition and production reality meet. We use treatments, storyboards, reference frames, motion tests, and technical breakdowns to clarify the intended image and determine how it should be made. AI can accelerate exploration, but the purpose is decision-making: a shared plan for directors, clients, production, and post.

Best Suited For

Where This Workflow Helps.

  • Concepts that combine live action, virtual production, VFX, and AI
  • Projects that need early alignment around tone, world, and camera language
  • Sequences with complex transitions or transformations
  • Productions that need to compare multiple practical and digital approaches

Deliverables

What the Engagement Can Include.

  • Creative treatment and visual references
  • Storyboards, shot concepts, and motion tests
  • Workflow and feasibility recommendations
  • Technical shot breakdowns
  • Production and post-production handoff plan

Working Principle

Technology Serves the Shot.

We select methods around the brief, source material, schedule, review needs, and final delivery—not around a predetermined tool.

01 / Process

A Production-Minded Workflow.

01

Clarify the brief

We define the audience, message, must-have images, deliverable formats, constraints, and approval path.

02

Explore visual directions

The team develops reference frames and motion ideas that are specific enough to evaluate, compare, and refine.

03

Break down the production

Each key image is mapped to practical capture, virtual production, VFX, AI, animation, or a hybrid of those methods.

04

Lock the handoff

Approved visual targets, shot priorities, source requirements, and review milestones become the working production plan.

03 / FAQ

Practical Questions.

Is AI concept art treated as a final production asset?

Only when the brief and rights allow it and the asset survives the required quality review. Most concept imagery is used to align direction and plan the production.

How detailed should previs be?

Detailed enough to answer the important production questions. A transformation shot may need timed motion tests; a dialogue scene may only need framing and environment references.

Can previs compare different production methods?

Yes. It is often the best stage to compare a practical build, location, virtual stage, traditional VFX, and AI-assisted option against the same creative target.
